So the last three years I've been writing KOTD, I've always had a deadline. I started off at a week, then quickly found that I was too new at writing to keep that up, so I dropped it to a chapter a month. This has worked out well, but sometimes I just can't hit that quota. Also the idea of "I gotta finish this, I gotta finish this!" stumps my writing energy a lot. Stressing about deadlines, is easily my biggest creative killer.
